Bain De Los Santos, Stephanie, Texas A&M University-Kingsville
Dr. Stephanie Bain De Los Santos has over a decade of experience in education. Her classroom experience includes working in economically, disadvantaged schools, while specifically focusing on classroom management techniques. Currently, Stephanie is the AVID (Advancement Via Individual determination) Liaison for Texas A&M University- Kingsville. In her current role, she facilitates professional developments for faculty, teaching assistants, and university tutors and mentors which promote the implementation of high engagement strategies in college classrooms. In addition, she writes curriculum to incorporate AVID high impact strategies which incorporates culturally relevant teaching. Stephanie also teaches Student Success Courses at TAMUK.
Stephanie graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.A. in History and two minors, one in education and the other economics. She also holds a M.S. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University- Kingsville.
