Courtney Gatlin-Keener biographic information

Courtney Gatlin-Keener is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her projected graduation date is May 2021. As a first-generation college student, she graduated with honors while obtaining her Associates of Arts in Business Administration (Houston Community College), Bachelor of Business Administration (University of Houston-Victoria) and Master of Business Administration (University of Houston-Victoria).

Ms. Gatlin-Keener currently works as a Project Controls Manager for an engineering company in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, she volunteers with organizations that are dear to her heart. Supporting Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas by helping elementary to high school students prepare for Corporate America, entrepreneurship and financial literacy, as well as providing operational and financial consultation to Chaurice’s Auntie Foundation, a non-profit organization assisting young adults with malignant brain tumors, have truly been rewarding experiences that provide special gratification no paid work could ever produce. While she enjoys her occupation and consultation, Courtney’s most cherished work is the labor of love given as a devoted wife and loving mother. cgatlin@student.uiwtx.edu
