Joseph D. Conde biographic information

Joseph D. Conde is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at the University of the Incarnate Word. His projected graduation date is December 2020. Joseph received his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Organizational Leadership from South Texas College in McAllen, TX, and his Master of Business Administration from National American University in Austin, TX. Joseph has several years of experience in Funeral Service and Management and has worked for one of the nation’s largest funeral homes and cemeteries network, Service Corporation International, a Fortune 500 company. His passion has always been to assist families cope with the loss of their loved one and funeral service planning. He is currently the Owner/Funeral Director of Conde Funeral Services, which launched in July of 2020, assisting other funeral homes with funeral services and other professional services. Joseph has always had a passion for helping with community outreach. As a Funeral Director, Joseph is actively involved with engaging with hospice organizations and first responders by volunteering at their annual events. jconde@student.uiwtx.edu

Dr. Ryan Lunsford biographic information

Dr. Ryan Lunsford joined the University of the Incarnate Word in 2010 and currently serves as Professor of Management and Chair of the Doctor of Business Administration. Professor Lunsford received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from The Texas A & M University System. He continued his graduate training at The University of Texas at Dallas where he earned both the Master of Science and the Master of Arts degrees building upon his international graduate university studies at The University of London and The London School of Economics. In 2006, having completed his dissertation examining the marketing of home education, he earned the Doctor of Philosophy in Management. Professor Lunsford teaches a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses both online and on-ground. Previously, Dr. Lunsford was Dean at the Keller School of Graduate Management in Phoenix, Arizona and Assistant Professor of Marketing and Founding Director of the Executive MBA Program at the Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University. Prior to academia, Professor Lunsford served a Dallas/Fort Worth non-profit educational corporation for five years as Director of Strategic Management. lunsford@uiwtx.edu
