Author Biography:
Terry L. Howard
Terry L. Howard is a Lecturer in Decision and Systems Sciences of the College of Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy. He works with Business Leadership Network of Michigan and serves as the Director of the Leadership and Economic Independence program, working with 14–26 aged-individuals who have challenges. He holds MBA/MSCIS degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy and has certification in Security Information. He is a member of the National Honor Societies, Alpha Iota Delta and Beta Gamma Sigma. He is a motivational speaker and has published papers nationally in professional and academic journals.
Gregory W. Ulferts
Gregory W. Ulferts is a Professor in Decision and Systems Sciences of the College of Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy. His scholarly activities have included research and publication on various topics related to management information systems, financial management, decision sciences, small business administration, and international business. He has served as a consultant in business and government in areas such as strategic and technology planning, operations and procurement management, analysis and design of systems, and business development.
Muhammad Mustafa Rashid
Muhammad Mustafa Rashid is a researcher, scholar and alumnus affiliated with the University of Detroit Mercy and University of California of Davis. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and economics from the University of California Davis and a Master of Arts in applied economics from the University of Detroit Mercy. Currently, Muhammad Mustafa Rashid is a Master of Business Administration candidate at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he has been a graduate teaching and research assistant since 2018. Muhammad Mustafa Rashid’s research interests include economic and business history, macroeconomics, international economics, public finance, and industrial organization. He has been named a Ford Scholar and a King Chavez Parks Scholar and is a life-time member of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools, St. Ignatius Chapter and Alpha Iota Delta, Delta Mu Chapter. He is also a Chartered Economist as certified by the Global Academy of Finance and Management and is a designated Fellow.
