Author Biography:
Mary Tucker
Dr. Tucker is Professor of Management in the Department of Management at Ohio University and has taught courses in global leadership, management, organization behavior, intercultural effectiveness and strategic communication. Mary received her Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans; her dissertation research focused on transformational leadership. Mary is a certified trainer in cultural intelligence and has done extensive training, speaking, and course development for both private and public sector organizations in the areas of leadership, effective communication, intercultural effectiveness, management, emotional intelligence, and diversity.
Katherine Hartman
Dr. Katherine Hartman is a Fox Associate Professor of Marketing and Director of Undergraduate Programs & Assessment in the College of Business at Ohio University. She teaches marketing strategy, marketing research, and consumer behavior. Her research interests include assessment, accreditation, problem-based learning, general education, and intercultural competency.
Nicole Gullekson
Dr. Gullekson is Chair & Associate Professor of Management at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse where she teaches students international management and organizational behavior courses. Before joining the UW-L faculty, Dr. Gullekson taught as an Instructor at Ohio University. Her research and interests focus on cross-cultural organizational behavior, global leadership development, international adjustment, emotions in the workplace, cross-cultural management education, corporate sustainability and social responsibility, and employee turnover. Dr. Gullekson is a member of the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Society for Human Resource Management. She has published and presented over 30 professional research papers and consults with companies when time allows. She and her husband have two young children which keep life exciting (and busy) outside of work.
