Author Biography:
Dr. Cassandra Bennett is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Bloomsburg University. She received her Doctorate of Business Administration in Accounting from Liberty University, Masters in Business Administration with Specialization in Accounting from Misericordia University and undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. Before entering the academic realm, she spent several years as a practicing CPA. She spent five years in the public accounting industry, three years as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company and one year as the budget manager for a higher education institution. Her research interests include managerial accounting, higher education, blockchain and data security. Jeffrey L. Bennett Jeffrey L. Bennett is the Vice President for Finance and Administration/Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer of Lycoming College of Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lycoming College. Prior to working at Lycoming College, he spent 17 years as a practicing CPA at ParenteBeard, LLC (currently Baker Tilly, LLC). His research interests include the areas of higher education, budgeting, executive leadership. |
