Dr. Hio Loi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He received his Doctoral degree in Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Master’s degree in Economics from Eastern Illinois University, and Undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Macao Polytechnic Institute in Macao, China. He has taught both undergraduate and MBA-level Economics courses. Before joining the University of Tennessee at Martin, Dr. Loi has taught at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville as a visiting assistant professor. His research interests include Macroeconomics and cryptocurrency.
Tingting Liu
Dr. Tingting Liu is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Workforce Development at Southern Illinois University (SIU). She received her Ph.D. with a concentration in Workforce Development from SIU at Carbondale. She teaches a broad range of classes at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including human resources, career development, technical communication, instructional design, and adult learning. Her research focuses on workplace diversity, leadership development, scholarship of teaching and learning, employment discrimination, and human resource development. She also achieves a Mixed Methods Research Certificate.
