Alysyn Harvey-Green is a Category II faculty member in the Computer Information Systems/Business Analytics department at Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the co-coordinator of their Introduction to Computer course. Alysyn received her master’s degree at the University of Colorado in Computer Science and Information Systems and a master’s degree at the University of Denver in Leadership and Organizational Change. Her research includes security issues that affect businesses with emphasis on the user as well as innovative changes in IT. She is a member of the National Cyber Security Center (NCC), the Association for Information Systems (AIS), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She has worked in the educational field for over 15 years in different capacities and considers her role as one that brings positive change to student's lives.
Edgar Maldonado
Edgar Maldonado is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems. He got his Ph.D. from Penn State in 2009. Prior to that, he worked as software support engineer for banking networks projects in the Caribbean. His research interest are in the intersection of Data Analytics and Curriculum development, as well as the use of Information systems for emergency relief.
Vicky Seehusen
Vicky Seehusen is entering her 35th year teaching in higher education. She began her career in computers and information technology as a network engineer, software installer and trainer in private industry. Her PhD is in Educational Technology; She uses technology to make learning more fun and relevant for learners. Her master's degree is in Management of Information Systems. Research interests include curricular choices for information technology students, cyber security education for business students, and the management of dark data.
