Aditya Limaye, Arkansas Technical University:

Dr Aditya Limaye is currently a Visiting Instructor of Accounting at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. Dr Aditya has completed his PhD in International Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and also his Master of Professional Accountancy from Texas A&M International University located in Laredo, TX. He has taught finance and economics to students at Texas A&M International University for 5-6 years and currently teaches Accounting, Finance, and Economics to undergraduate and graduate students at Arkansas Tech University. He has taught classes that are online, face to face as well as mixed technology (combination of online and face to face). While at Arkansas Tech University he has also been involved with designing a Hyflex course. Hyflex is a new technology that allows students the flexibility to attend the class in person or online while the instructor will be delivering the class face to face in the classroom. The use of Hyflex technology is very beneficial to any institution in case of any emergency situation such as the pandemic that occurred in 2020. His undergraduate degree was in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pune but he decided to switch his career to the business field after his undergraduate degree. He holds an MBA in Finance from University of Pune and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Houston. Dr. Aditya has also presented his research at several conferences throughout his career with the highlight being the Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Conference in 2016 in Las Vegas and has some journal publications as well. His research interests are accounting ethics, financial statement analysis and firm performance, real estate, corporate finance, financial markets, and investor sentiment. He has also served as a member of the Curriculum and Assessment Committee at College of Business and Economic Development at Arkansas Tech University for the year 2022-2023. ?

Andres Rivas, Investment Advisor (Primerica):

Dr. Andres Rivas is currently an Entrepreneur and Certified Investment Adviser. Although he holds a doctorate in International Business with a major in Finance, Dr. Rivas has switched his career and mission to help people with their personal finances, especially within the Hispanic communities in the US. His goal is to “to spread financial literacy by creating leaders and entrepreneurs that help families from all backgrounds achieve financial freedom, for a better quality of life and to build generational wealth.”? ? Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Dr. Rivas was an Associate Professor of Finance at the A.R. Sanchez School of Business at Texas A&M International University from 2004-2016 where he taught MBA and Ph.D. Finance courses. ? Dr. Rivas has received different awards. Among them are: Texas A&M International University COBA Teacher of the Year May 2007, Who's Who Among American Teachers 2006, and Who’s Who in America for 2010. Dr. Rivas’s research interests are in the fields of personal finance, international finance, banking, REITS and emerging markets.? ? He holds a Ph.D. in International Business with a major in Finance and Economics from The University of Texas Pan American, an MBA with a major in Finance from Madison-WI, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Finance from the Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela.? ? Before commencing his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Rivas worked for an international company as Director of the Operation Research unit in charge of analyzing Latin American markets. A frequent speaker at both academic and practitioner-oriented seminars and conferences, Dr. Rivas has published in academic journals such as Global Business and Finance Review, International Business and Economics Research Journal, Latin American Business Review, and Análisis Económico. Dr. Rivas has also served as a consultant to different financial institutions in the US and Latin America.

Ahmed Elkassabgi, Arkansas Technical University:

Dr. Ahmed Elkassabgi holdsa Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Division of International Banking and Finance at the A.R. Sanchez Jr. School of Business Administration at Texas A&M International University. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University – Kingsville and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Dr. Elkassabgi has held several academic and non-academic positions over the past 20 years. As an academic, he is up to date on the latest research on topics such as asset valuation, asset management, and risk analysis and mitigation. He teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Financial Institutions Management, Real Estate Finance, Investments, Portfolio Management, and Personal Finance. He is am proficient in U.S. constitutional law related to intellectual properties. As a representative for the United States government, he has worked in the United States Department of Commerce via the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia as a Patent Examiner. He focused on examining applications that reduce computing time and hardware resources for 3D simulations. His responsibilities included writing detailed legal and technical reports explaining my position in allowing or rejecting an application to become a patent. He applied legal U.S. constitutional precedence to support his decisions.
