Shelly Salazar
Shelly Salazar, M.Ed. is the Student Development Coordinator with the Center for Student Success at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Shelly is a current doctoral student with Texas A&M University- Kingsville’s College of Education and Human Performance. With 10 years’ experience in secondary education and almost six years’ experience in higher education, Shelly’s research interests focus on Student development, recruitment and retention.

Daniella G. Varela, Ed.D. is an Assistant Professor and Co-Coordinator of the Educational Leadership Doctoral program in the College of Education and Human Performance at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. With over 15 years of experience in educator preparation at state and local levels, Dr. Varela's research interests include teacher education, teacher efficacy, educational leadership, and higher education administration.
