Jim DeConinck
Dr. Jim DeConinck is Professor of Marketing at Western Carolina University. His research interests include leadership, moral identity, supervisor trust, duty orientation, economic and social exchange, and salesforce turnover. He has published in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management. Jim’s teaching interests are sales and negotiation. He completed his doctorate at the University of Arkansas. Prior to entering his doctoral program, he spent 10 years with Sears and NCR Corporation in management and sales.
Julie Johnson-Busbin
Dr. Julie Johnson-Busbin is Professor of Marketing at Western Carolina University. Her research interests include buyer-seller relationships, customer defection, salesforce turnover and salesforce performance. She has published in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management. Julie’s teaching interests are in consultative selling and business-to-business marketing. She completed her doctorate at Georgia State University. Prior to entering her doctoral program, she spent 7 years with AT&T in sales and marketing.
